Film Feast – Motel Hell

We kick off Film Feast with a look at the 1980 cult film Motel Hell.

As part of the new Otherworldly Culture launch, we have a new program called Film Feast. What is film feast you might ask? It’s a monthly program hosted by Adam “Taco King” Holtzapfel where he pairs a meal with a film to give viewers a dinner and a movie idea.

The grill used for the ribs was a Daniel Boone model Green Mountain Grill/ This is a pellet grill versus the traditional smoker. The pellets used were Louisiana Grills Competition Blend (maple, hickory, & cherry).

The base recipe for the ribs was yellow mustard and your favorite rub, this link is an estimated guide for time and temperature.

For the sweet potato noodles with peanut sauce we used this recipe as the base. I doubled the ginger and garlic.

For the asparagus we coated it with olive oil, salt, and pepper. We set the propane side of a Char-Griller Duo to high and let them cook for 3 minutes.
