Otherworldly Culture announces a special “Full Oral Legends” coming on September 4, 2025. The program will includes tales of urban legends, local folklore and campfire stories from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and Kentucky. Wisconsin is represented by the Beast of Bray Road, Walworth County’s Werewolf, and Haunchies, cannibal dwarves from Muskego, WI.

This special is the launch to another season of DEAD ON THURSDAYS, which features a rotating group of video podcasts premiering live each week. Each of the programs highlights pop culture, primarily around horror films, sci-fi, rock and roll, wrestling and other related genres.
Dead On Movie Reviews is a program featuring the “Faculty of Fear” panel that individually review four horror movies. Some are classics; some are the latest films out on the market.
Dead On the Bases makes a competition of horror films vs. sports films and points are scored with the film selections and trivia competitions.
Now Streaming features a panel of critics that review a film available on a FAST streaming service. FAST (Free Ad Supported Television) streaming services like Tubi, Roku Channel, and Pluto TV. Now, we will help you discover films of all genres out there!
After years of premiering our live program on Twitch, this year we are moving to YouTube completely. Host Tim Kretschmann elaborates, “After many good years at Twitch, we realized if you are a smaller podcast on the platform, you are better off as a gaming show. We believe YouTube can afford us better discoverability and are now concentrating our effort there. We certainly are not new to YouTube: we’ve been posting horror convention panel interviews there for twelve years already.”
