Native American Heritage Month
948adb77 ece0 4f3d b6ad 18fb1cfd08ca
In honor of November’s National Native American Heritage Month and ahead of Native American Heritage Day on November 27, Prime Video has put together a collection of movies and shows celebrating native and indeginious stories, storytellers and actors. The collection can be found on the Prime Video homepage and includes titles such as Turquoise Rose (2007), a coming of age story about a Navajo girl from Phoenix, Arizona; More Than Frybread (2012), a comedic mockumentary following a fictional fry-bread competition; and 7th Generation (2017), an award-winning documentary about Oglala Lakota tribal member Jim Warne’s efforts in helping Tribal Nations find a way to succeed in a contemporary American system.

About the Author

Adam Holtzapfel
Growing up in the 80s on a steady diet of VHS horror, he has maintained a love of the genre since. Loving almost everything from the good, the bad, and the weird he now searches the deepest realm of the Roku to press play on any film he hasn't watched a million times.
